What is Skin Lighten RX used for?
Rather than try and bleach the darkened area of skin to whiten it, research has shown a better and more effective approach is to turn-over the damaged skin and treat the newly formed cells to prevent the darkening of the skin. The process of skin darkening is actually a chain reaction of events where enzymes activate the melanin process and darken the skin cells.
What makes Skin Lighten RX unique?
Hydroquinone is an ingredient that has some effective qualities to it but only works to try and bleach the darkened skin a lighter shade. This methodology has been shown to not be as effective as actually speeding up the process of turning over the skin with the use of an exfoliant or peeling agent like Alpha Hydroxy Acids and then treating the skin with a powerful skin lightening active skin care treatment.
How does Skin Lighten RX work?
We have successfully promoted our forms of skin lightening Alpha Arbutin Serums and Creams but in trying to create an even more effective product we have had excellent results with the addition of Amino Acids which prevent the enzyme process from kick-starting the Tyrosinase process which would in turn activating the skin’s darkening process.
